Privacy policy

Information we collect

• Contact details such as name, email address and telephone number.
• Service information such as delivery address, selected dates and windows, dumpster size, placement instructions and service requests.
• Transaction information such as price, payment status, Stripe customer/payment references, refunds and documented excess-weight charges. We do not receive or store full payment-card numbers.
• Operational records such as driver notes, delivery or pickup completion times, placement photos, landfill scale-ticket details, service issues and related correspondence.
• Limited technical and security information such as IP address, browser/device details and request logs generated by our hosting and security provider.
• Your optional email-marketing choice, including when and where you opted in or unsubscribed.
• First-party website-usage information such as a random browser-session identifier, visit time, landing page, referring website or campaign, broad device category, active time and the booking step reached. Our analytics do not record names, contact details, jobsite addresses, payment details, typed field contents or precise location.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

• provide address suggestions, travel-fee estimates and quotes;
• reserve inventory and schedule delivery and pickup;
• process payments, refunds and authorized weight charges;
• send confirmations, reminders, receipts, extension quotes and service notices, and send one review request after a completed rental;
• send one monthly dumpster-rental offer with a returning-customer coupon only when you separately opt in;
• document service, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and protect the safety of customers, drivers, property and equipment; and
• understand which public pages and referral sources are useful and identify where visitors leave the booking process so we can improve pricing explanations and the user experience; and
• meet accounting, tax, insurance and legal obligations.

We disclose only the information reasonably needed for these vendors to perform services for us:

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect people or property, in connection with an insurance claim or dispute, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell personal information, use it for targeted advertising, or disclose it to data brokers.

Cookies and payment security

The site uses cookies or browser storage needed for security, admin sign-in, booking functionality and first-party measurement. A random analytics identifier is kept only for the current browser session and is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. We do not currently use advertising cookies. Stripe collects card information directly under its own privacy and security practices; our systems retain only the Stripe references needed to manage a transaction and, when separately authorized, a later excess-weight charge.

Retention

We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above. Completed transaction and service records may generally be kept for up to seven years for accounting, tax, dispute and legal needs. Placement, service-issue and landfill-ticket photos are automatically deleted 30 days after pickup completion; related reservation, driver-note, weight, issue and payment records remain subject to the longer record-retention period. Unpaid booking holds that expire without a completed payment are deleted after 90 days. First-party website analytics are automatically deleted after 180 days. Security logs, backups and records subject to a dispute, legal hold or insurance claim may follow different deletion schedules. We may retain a limited suppression record after an unsubscribe so that we continue honoring that choice.

Your choices and privacy requests

You may ask to access, correct or delete personal information we maintain about you; obtain a copy in a reasonably portable format; or ask for information about our processing and the third parties to whom information was disclosed where applicable law provides those rights. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising or decisions with legal or similarly significant effects, so there is presently no such processing to opt out of. We will verify the request and respond as required by applicable law. Some records must be retained for transactions, safety, fraud prevention or legal obligations. We will not discriminate against a customer for making a privacy request.

Monthly rental offers are optional, are not a condition of service, and are separate from transactional messages about an active rental. Every monthly offer includes an unsubscribe link. Opting out of offers does not stop delivery, pickup, payment, safety or other service messages.

If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to the decision or emailing the same address with the subject “Privacy Appeal.” We will explain the result and any additional complaint option required by applicable law.

Security, children and policy changes

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, but no internet system can promise absolute security. The service is intended for adults arranging a business or household rental and is not directed to children under 18. We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change; the new effective date will be posted here, and material changes will apply prospectively.
